Joseph P. Farhatt MBA
Joseph Farhatt has over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, where he specialized in designing and implementing executive benefit plans for community bankers using bank-owned life insurance (BOLI). Prior to his career in finance, Joseph spent 17 years as the marketing and merchandising manager for the Steve Mizerany and Joe Farhatt New Deal Warehouse and Showroom of Appliances.
Now with The Yanker Group, Joseph specializes in developing retirement income strategies through research, portfolio construction and financial analysis. Depending on the phase of retirement the client is in, Joseph incorporates a diverse investment offering that may include stocks, fixed income and alternative investments.
Joseph received a BA in marketing from St. Louis University, and an MBA from Fontbonne University. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Financial Services Institute.
A St. Louis native, Joseph and his wife, Jean are active with the local causes Voices for Children and the Children’s Heart Association. In his free time, Joseph enjoys golfing, yoga, doing stand-up comedy and comedy screenplay writing.
